Muthanna has experience working with state elected representatives in Malaysia for which he supported the planning and running of programmes for the constituents. He has experience in youth capacity building and humanitarian relief work where he coordinated the delivery of aid and cash donations.
Muthanna has since developed a keen interest in poverty eradication and global economic inequality, particularly in Muslim majority countries. He is currently pursuing an MSc in Human Rights at the University of Sussex and his research is centred on the role of Maqasid as an instrument for development and socio-economic well-being.
